Opening Power Supply Adapter

Many of us know that it was not easy to open up the cover for ac adapter. In fact it is easy to spoil the cover and leave lots of scratch mark on it. Here i have a tip shared by a repair friend from Kenya Mr Ibu and this is what he said “i apply car fuel (Regular) just apply around the edges wait for 3 minutes and open”
I have not tested it yet but i guess it will work. Why not you try out now and share your experience by posting to this blog under the comment link below?

Yeah, I have tried it and it works. If within 5 minutes it won't opened try apply again around the edges ans surely it can be opened easily.

Very nice tips. I have thrown three of my adapters, but, the next time if I get any adapter problem then I am definitely going to apply these techniques. Thanks

Make sure no naked flame is nearby.
It may start a fire.

Good technique. How about the tv remote and the dvd. Some they don't have screws for opening. But mostly the china brand dnt have. But anyway gasoline just works fine.thank you.

You may need a hard and wide plastic to open it.
