Albert, I still have same incandescent bulb in my house entry lobby since last 26 Years & still working fine. As per my personal experience early tungsten-filament light bulbs are still good option if use it in small quantity , Because LED bulbs are cost effective in terms of power consumption but its failure rate is high so your saved money in in power consumption is utilized for buying new LED bulbs.

Insulated Tweezers i brought 25 years back, but still available online.
Material availability depends on the market trend, in India we have to buy in quantity because only LED bulb manufacturers buy it.

Testing heavy motors in ones hands is a bit scary. The momentary motor hard-kicks through ones hands are not for the faint hearted, and neither are the ear-piercing sound of emitted fat sparks for scary souls. For some motors, I understand prolonged and unecessary repeated tests are highly discouraged out of the possibility of burning the motor armature coils, owing to high current draw.

Quite a helpful tuition. If you have such like woofer, visitors dont leave your premise in a hurry when good music is playing, bass is more than needed at the correct volume. I was surprised one day to find double TEA2025B ICs in a sub-woofer.
